Željana Zovko is a Member of the European Parliament for Croatia, sitting with the European People’s Party (EPP), the centre-right group, and representing Hrvatska demokratska zajednica. In the 10th parliamentary term, Zovko is Vice-Chair of the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats), a title also held from 2022 to 2024, when Zovko was additionally Vice-Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. The 8th and 9th parliamentary terms preceded the current one. Before joining the Parliament, Zovko was Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in Italy in 2015–2016, Foreign policy adviser to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers in 2012–2015, and Ambassador in France in 2004–2008.
