Isabella Lövin is a Member of the European Parliament for Sweden, belonging to the Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA), the green and regionalist group, and to the national party Miljöpartiet de gröna. Lövin's current term is the 10th parliamentary term (2024–2029), which began on 16 July 2024, and includes a role as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Development. Earlier European Parliament terms were the 7th and 8th. Between 2014 and 2021, Lövin served as Minister of International Development Cooperation (2014–2016), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Climate and International Development Cooperation (2016–2018), and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Climate and Environment (2018–2021), and was Co-leader of Miljöpartiet De Gröna (2016–2021).
