Methodology
Attendance is calculated based on roll-call votes in plenary sessions of the European Parliament over the last 180 days. Abstaining counts as present; not voting counts as absent. Sittings for which the Parliament officially excused a Member are credited and do not count as absences. Country averages include only MEPs with attendance data (excluding those excused, presiding officers, and MEPs too new to rank).
